Elliott and Emma have been working in Primary and Secondary schools for the past 4 years and have been introducing Ballroom and Latin to children from KS1 to KS4.
E&E teach a range of classes from a full day with 30 minute sessions per class to after school classes that are always fully attended. One of the Schools recently received an outstanding OFSTED Inspection that included our weekly classes.
Although this is dance based we include education about the origins of the dances as well as including themed dances to go along with what the children are learning in class. The classes promote the children’s confidence, team building, musicality and co-ordination.
Throughout the year the children should be able to:
Develop flexibility, strength, technique, control and balance.
Perform dances using a range of movement patterns.
Take part in group exercises both individually and working within a team.
Compare their performances with previous ones and demonstraight improvement to achieve their personal best.
